Jutta Scheffczik
Dr Scheffczik studied medicine at the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg in Germany, specialising in anaesthesia. She came to the UK in 2007 to sub-specialise in Paediatric Anaesthesia.
While working at Great Ormond Street Hospital, Dr Scheffczik became fascinated by Paediatric Cardiac Anaesthesia and expanded her knowledge and skills with a cardiac fellowship at the Royal Brompton Hospital. Following Locum Consultant posts in Oxford and Glasgow, she got a substantive consultant post for Paediatric Cardiac Anaesthesia in Leeds in 2016.
