Johannes Bähr, geb. 1956, studierte Geschichte und Politikwissenschaft in Freiburg i. Br. und München, wurde 1986 zum Dr. phil. promoviert und habilitierte 1998 an der Freien Universität Berlin. Er lehrt als apl. Professor an der J. W. Goethe-Universität Frankfurt am Main. Zahlreiche Veröffentlichungen zur Wirtschaft- und Unternehmensgeschichte,u. a. Die MAN.
