Dr. Hartmut Traut ist Industriekaufmann, Diplomkaufmann sowie promovierter Dr. phil. Nach dem Verkauf seiner Firma Centro Kontrollsysteme arbeitete er 8 Jahre als Sales und Marketing Director bei Thermo Detection und war für die Gebiete Europa, Mittlerer Osten und Afrika verantwortlich. Anschließend war er 19 Jahre lang als Business Director von Trexel für Europa tätig. In Anerkennung seiner langjährigen Tätigkeit und seiner Rolle bei der Entwicklung von Trexel hat das Unternehmen ihm den Ehrentitel „Vice President Emeritus“ verliehen.
