Francisco A Arabía

<p><strong>​</strong><strong>Dr. Arabia</strong> obtained his MD degree from the University of Pennsylvania.&nbsp; He holds a degree in bioengineering from Tulane Univ. and an MBA from the University of AZ.&nbsp;He became Professor of Surgery at the University of AZ where he was the surgical director of the Lung Tx Program.</p>

<div>He became Chair of Cardiac Surgery at Mayo Clinic AZ where he established the Heart Transplant and Mechanical Circulatory Support Programs.&nbsp;He has worked as a Clinical Professor&nbsp;of Surgery at UCLA and formerly worked as the&nbsp;Director for Advanced Mechanical Circulatory Support Center at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles.&nbsp;He currently serves as Physician Executive for Advanced Heart Programs at Banner Health/ University of Arizona in Phoenix and Tucson, Professor of Surgery and Medicine.</div>
