He was a visiting professor at the\u003cstrong\u003e \u003c\/strong\u003eCatholic University of America, Washington DC, in 1996–1997, 2001, and 2005. Besides 87 research papers published in various national\/ international journals and edited volumes, Velassery has published 14 books. Dr. Velassery is also a member of the Council for Research in Values and Philosophy and is also associated with the Centre for the Study of Culture and Values, both located in Washington. D.C.
