Dr. Kumar is currently working as an associate professor of medicine and gastroenterology at the Indian Naval Hospital Ship (INHS) Asvini, Mumbai. He has published several papers in peer-reviewed national and international journals and is a member of the Indian Society of Gastroenterology and the Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy of India.
