Between December 2020 and October 2021, he was part of the renal and transplantation team at University Hospital Lozenetz, Sofia. In 2015, he earned his PhD on Vitamin D and kidney transplantation. Additionally, Dr Filipov worked as a Specialist Registrar at the John Walls Renal Unit, Leicester, UK (November 2011 – April 2012).\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cp\u003e Since 2013, Dr Filipov has been actively involved in the plasma exchange program at the Department of Nephrology and Transplantation and contributed to the development of the Bulgarian Guideline for Plasma Exchange in 2016.
