He received the National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars of China in 2014. He is also enrolled in the Chang Jiang Scholars Program of China. He is the president of the International Association of Swarm and Evolutionary Intelligence (IASEI), and also serves as the Editor-in-Chief of IASEI Transactions on Swarm Intelligence, and International Journal of Computational Intelligence and Pattern Recognition (IJCIPR), the Associate Editor of IEEE Transactions on Cybernetics (CYB), Neural Networks, International Journal of Swarm Intelligence Research (IJSIR), etc. \u0026lt;\/p\u0026gt;\u0026lt;p\u0026gt;\u0026lt;\/p\u0026gt;\u0026lt;p\u0026gt;Meng Yuan received her B.S. degree in new energy science and engineering from the School of Environmental and Energy Engineering of Beijing University of Technology in 2018, and received her M.S.degree in Thermodynamics and Fluid Mechanics from the University of Manchester in 2019.
