He is conducting space research in collaboration with the COMETE laboratory at the University of Caen-Normandy in France and the Neuroscience Laboratory at the NASA Johnson Space Center in Houston, Texas.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cp\u003eResearch in neurosciences has been his primary focus with experiments flown on \u003cem\u003eSalyut\u003c\/em\u003e, \u003cem\u003eMir\u003c\/em\u003e, 44 \u003cem\u003eSpace Shuttle \u003c\/em\u003emissions, and 67 Expeditions on the \u003cem\u003eInternational Space Station\u003c\/em\u003e. His research focuses on the effects of weightlessness on human posture, eye movements, spatial orientation, and cognition.
