N. Karazin Kharkiv National University. She specializes in multilayer and multicomponent nitride systems, wear-resistant coatings, and structure\u0026amp;ndash;property relationships under extreme conditions. Dr. Maksakova is a recipient of the Young Scientists Prize of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine (2024), a 2023\u0026amp;ndash;2025 NextGenerationEU (Slovakia) fellow, and a two-time JESH Fellow of the Austrian Academy of Sciences (2023, 2024). She has co-authored over 60 peer-reviewed publications, two monographs, and eight patents, with validated industrial prototypes of multilayer-coated cutting tools.\u0026lt;\/p\u0026gt;\u003cbr\u003e\u0026lt;p\u0026gt;Dr. Kateryna Smyrnova is a materials scientist specializing in thin films and nanostructured coatings.
